The Amazing Superteam is a bi-weekly webcomic based around a group of superheroes. The comic uses parody of existing comic books and movies to tell the story of a team that can't quite get things to work right. It was first put on the web on October 01, 2006 as a weekly comic but changed to bi-weekly on March 12, 2007. It is drawn in a stick figure style similar to The Order of the Stick.

The Amazing Superteam used to be the best superhero team in the entire city. They were so good that career villains stopped comitting crimes and got real jobs because the Amazing Superteam would just stop them and put them in jail. This lead to decades of them sitting on their butts and forgetting how to fight crime.

The lack of a superhero presence in the city lead to the formation of a new villain team called New Order of Badguys or NOOB for short. Their leader is new to super villainy so his plans don't always work as intended. This makes them the perfect advesaries for the Amazing Superteam. Their ultimate plan is yet to be discovered by the Superteam.

Superstar

Superstar is an alien from another world who was sent to Earth by his parents. It has not yet be revealed as to why he was sent to Earth. He is the unofficial leader of the Amazing Superteam because he is the most powerful but is often unaware of what's going on around him. He doesn't take into account the possible results of his actions and often misinterperates the outcomes of what he did.

Powers - Super strength, Invulnerability, Flight, Laser vision, Frost breath, and X-ray Vision.

The Gadget

Gadget is the brains behind the team. He is a world class detective however, he is not perfect. Since he has no superpowers he uses gadgets and non-lethal weaponry to fight crime. Additionally he is well trained in hand to hand combat and martial arts. He is also the heir to a large family fortune which allowed him to afford the training and gadgets used in his chosen career of superhero.

Powers - None.

Rapid

Rapid is the fast talking wise guy of the team. He is often bored because he can finish everything he needs to do for the day in seconds. This boredom in combination with a short attention span leads to pranks and general mischief. His favorite food is cupcakes.

Powers - Super speed.

Red Hot

Red Hot is the only member of the team to continue using the Unsafe Room for combat training after the villains got real jobs. She has a mean streak and is easily angered by other members of the team. Some time ago she had a relationship with the super villain Chill Kill. The reason for the break up is still unknown.

Powers - Fire generation and Flight.

Abe Phishman

Abe has been a long time member of the Amazing Superteam however, he has never fought a super villain because his powers are restricted to underwater use and the team resides in the city. Since he has never been needed he has been assigned other tasks by the team including baking cupcakes and taking care of the Superteam goldfish.

Powers - Communication with aquatic animals and under water breathing due to gills in his neck.

Julie

Julie is the newest member of the team. She was hired during a recent tryouts session but has yet to choose a hero name. Even though she is new she has already been useful to the team by helping them defeat the villain Humungus Wrex.

Powers - Telepathy and Telekinesis.

Prodigy

Prodigy is a super intelligent android with strength proportional to that of a robot. He is the leader of the New Order of Badguys but since he is new to super villainy his plans don't always work out the way he hoped they would. Prodigy's creator is still unknown.

Powers - None.

Doom

Doom is a severely disturbed person. He really likes his guns. So much so that he carries them all with him at all times in a yet to be revealed location. He is able to produce a large amount of weapons and ammo at any time including bazookas. Doom is proficient with a large assortment of firearms and other weaponry.

Powers - None. However, where he keeps a large amount of guns and ammo has not been revealed. This could be some kind of interdimentional powers.

Chill Kill

Chill Kill is so cold that if you touch him with your bare hand you will freeze solid. Even his personality and demeanor is cold. Chill Kill recently left his minimum wage job of making ice cubes to return to super villainy. Some time ago he had a relationship with the superhero Red Hot. The reason for the break up is still unknown.

Powers - Able to create almost limitless amounts of ice.

Frenzy

Frenzy is all about profiting from villainy. Diamonds are her all time favorite and is always up for a good diamond heist. She is generally easy going but is easily angered and the results can be deadly. It is not known if the claws she has are natural or part of her costume.

Powers - Heightened strength, speed and agility similar to a cat.

Humungus Wrex

Humungus asked if he could write his own description.

I am the coolest bad guy and i like hot dogs.

Powers - I have three powers. I'm big, Invulnerable, Unstoppable and Strong.
