[edit] Overview

[edit] Journal Comics

A long time ago, inspired by Drew Weing, fluffy started posting occasional weblog entries in the form of comics, after giving up on a previous long-form webcomic effort entitled "Eaveston" (now unavailable). The weblog comics updated sporadically, and were often interrelated with the events in the associated weblog. Topics included fluffy's cats, daily foibles, and sociopathic neighbors, as well as general issues of being a graduate student seeking a job.

Later on (after finishing grad school), fluffy began experimenting more with the art style, going for a more metaphorical (rather than literal) representation of the various participants in the journal comics, and eventually settled on a self-portrayal as an androgynous but feminine plaid thing (although the character design has continued to evolve over time).

Currently, journal comics are few and far between.

[edit] Pernicious

Pernicious started in August, 2005, and was intended as a more cartoon-like comic with zany madcap adventures. Somewhere along the line it took a darker tone, and fluffy has apparently lost interest as there have not been any updates since 2006. However, fluffy insists that more Pernicious updates may occur in the future.

[edit] Unity

Beginning in February, 2007, Unity started out as an experiment in building a universe from the perspective of someone who has lost every aspect of their identity. While this series has had many periods of inactivity, fluffy does appear to enjoy it enough to keep returning to it. When Unity is being updated, it generally updates twice a week.

[edit] Womble

A "lucid dream"-type comic inspired by Dresden Codak and Minus (among others), Womble runs occasionally on Saturdays. While there are some common elements between strips (for example, they always involve the Duchess and her pet womble), there is very little in terms of continuity between them. The main characters are the Duchess (who is apparently a mad scientist of some sort) and the womble (who used to be human until the Duchess transformed him/her into a "scaly marsupial thing").

[edit] Others

Now and then, fluffy will post a random comic which is not in any of the aforementioned series, as well as fan art and sketchbook pages.
