Cow & Buffalo is a weekly humor webcomic by artist Mike Maihack that launched in 2003 and is currently updated every Sunday. In January 2007, Cow & Buffalo joined the all-ages webcomic collective, Lunchbox Funnies. Together, the team of eight creators promote webcomics suitable and entertaining for readers of all ages.

Although originally planned as weekly self-contained strips, the two title characters' adventures have taken the webcomic into serial territory with story arcs sometimes taking over a year to resolve. The first of these large arcs, the time-traveling epic to end all time-traveling epics, was collected into Cow & Buffalo's first print collection, Adventures in Sandwich Making in February of 2007. The current story arc, started in September 2006 and involving the duo taking on superhero identities to save the world from evil, is expected to end sometime late 2007.

[edit] Characters

In addition to dimwitted Cow and the more informative Buffalo, a number of other characters have been introduced in the last couple of years including the always irritated Miss Hen, Cabbie- a taxi driving hippo from the future, Bronto- Cow's lovable pet brontosaurus and The Evil Pig- who is evil and a pig.

Cow and Buffalo also occasionally don the not-so-secret superhero identities of Captain Cow and Bison Boy.
