Faults is a webcomic on Drunkduck that features 4 main characters and a cast of side characters that consistently get themselves into humorous situations with bizarre results. Faults was featured on DrunkDuck December 22, 2008 on a Monday.

[edit] Plot
Faults has 4 main characters: Lance, Marcy, Kyle, and Keith. There are other minor characters including a satanic toaster and a grim scythe wielding mushroom. The Plot centers around the activities of these characters, mainly Lance. Usually one page gag strips, the comic has also had storylines, thought these are usually 3-5 strips long, with the exception of a 9 part storyline where Marcy goes to heck to retrieve the recently deceased Lance.

[edit] Lance
Lance is considered to be the main character of the webcomic. He is generally wearing a yellow shirt with 3 lines on it, and a light blue t-shirt underneath. He is a bit of an idiot and does nothing but annoy his twin sister Marcy and others around him. He has only died twice, though he has been shot and maimed. He has a pet mouse named Phreddy, and is deathly afraid of Toasty. He seems to have 0 luck in anything he does, much to the amusement of those around him. Lance is not the typical "wacky" character, he shows occasional insight and is rather creative. The only problem is that everything he does turns into something horribly wrong, like that time he dead legged his grandmother into the ocean. In short: Lance is the awkward kid that unwittingly entertains you.[1] [2]

Marcy is Lance's twin sister and polar opposite. She is very smart and cynical, and would be happy if Lance just left her alone. She has a diet coke addiction, and a fear of the underworld, and has been on numerous blind dates, not to mention her dedication to community service. She shows up periodically in the comic, usually to get Lance out of trouble. [3] [4]

Kyle is a depressed "smart" kid. He has dyed black hair and is whiney and annoying. At times he seems out of character with unnatural cheerfulness, usually because of christmas. He has a dislike for clowns, paticuarly Nazi Clowns. He hates celebrations, particuarly those that involve page milestones. His favorite band is Saosin, and he loves his pet Toasty. Kyle has been friends with Lance almost as long as Keith has, but he hates to admit it because he feels that Lance is "below" than him. Kyle is very antisocial, probably because of his "interesting" Homecoming date. [5] [6]

Keith is average guy of the group. He is a Harry Potter fanatic and is Lance's best friend. He tolerates Lance's stupidity, and enjoys hanging out with him. He hates insects and has a secret fetish for Screamo music. Keith has had several relationships, including a recent one with the infamous Miss Muffet, until she cheated on him with Spider-man and the relationship unfortunately ended. He also has severe allergic reactions to kittens.[7] [8]

[edit] Mushi
Mushi is a demonic mushroom that hangs around Marcy and the others. He loves torturing Lance and Keith, and is often seen carrying a large scythe. He has a tendency to curse like a sailor and is usually avoided by members of society. [9]

Phreddy is Lance's pet mouse. He is rarely seen, though he has been known to steal wallets from innocent bystanders...[10]

Toasty is a satanic toaster that only says 'Rowf!' Toasty enjoys torturing Lance, and is Kyle's pet. He and Kyle have had many businesses, including a candle shop, lemonade stand, and even a muffin shack. [11]
