[edit] Volume One

Garanos' story begins when she first arrives at Kaigan, a miniscule village at the edge of a forest, in the middle of the night. The village is built over a series of tunnels, one of which turns out to be the resting place of a demon from local lore, the Harbinger. Garanos becomes possessed, and with the help of an apprentice healer named Styx, eventually exorcises and vanquishes the Harbinger.

The first volume of Garanos consisted of 172 pages and was written as a self-contained short story, though the author eventually decided to pursue a sequel, Volume Two.

[edit] Volume Two

The second volume continues five months after the events in Volume One. Garanos is leading a fairly normal life in Kaigan with Styx, when the same group of mercenaries attack the village in the night. Though many of the town still does not trust her, she comes to their aid in fending off the bandits.

Volume Two is currently in production.
