George the Dragon, by Gary Lougee, is an ongoing webcomic about a very silly dragon (named George) and all his hilarious adventures, hijinks and so forth. It began in May of 2004 but made it to the web on August 31, 2007 on Drunk Duck. Its genre is a mixture but is predominantly fantasy. It is in full color, digitally inked and colored.

George the Dragon is a weekly comic strip that centers on the funny antics of lead character George. While generally the strips are stand alone gags, there are occasional story arcs which serve to add a little more depth to both the character and the world.
[edit] Chapter One:
These are the early comic strips which were done on a dry erase board in Gary's office. Many of the old Marker comics have been redone in brand new digital glory. The old markered ones can still be found on the site in a separate location.
[edit] Chapter Two: Dueling Daze
This chapter represents a combination of old dry-erase comics with the newer digital strips. Here we see a little into the life of George. He is constantly being bothered by knights and such out to prove something. He takes particular joy on thwarting their efforts to end his miserable scaly existence.

This is a collection of strips for various holidays.

This chapter is comprised of a mixture of dry-erase and digital art but really marks the change over to digital.

This is a short story arc where George takes a trip to the beach. He manages to scare off the locals, then he gets bored and hilarity ensues.

Single gag panel strips continue in the digital format. At the end of this section Gary begins to experiment with the use of panels.
[edit] Chapter Seven: George in Love (Part 1)
This first part of the "George in Love" sequence centers on the finding of his old yearbook and his search for and finding of his old, school flame. Gladys is introduced and the world learns the true name of the Loch Ness monster.
[edit] Chapter Eight: The Great Piggie Adventure
This short (3 strips) chapter goes into a trip which George made to Peru. It focuses on a peculiarity in the Peruvian diet, mainly the eating of Guinea Pigs.
[edit] Chapter Nine: George in Love (Part 2)
This is the final unfolding of the "George in Love" saga. It deals with George and Gladys' courtship and marriage.
[edit] Chapter Ten: The Once and Future Lobster
This chapter mainly takes place inside of Gladys' stomach. Prophesy is revealed. There is a great war. Tumult. Excitement. Witty banter. Sword fighting.

This chapter is a return to the gag-a-day format.

In this chapter George and Gladys embark upon the great adventure of parenthood.
