Nerdcore: The Core Wars began as a series of relatively disjoint single comic jokes. It has since gained an ongoing story featuring several groups. The story is set in a parallel universe that is both high-tech and magical. Key storylines include the President of Television and his assistant from a non-magical world being transported to the magical world. There they struggle to fit in to a local magical corporation (Necronomicorp). Another storyline features a young technomancer and a summoner whose highjinks have them on the run. The various storylines occur simultaneously, merging and splitting in different ways as the characters meet and part ways.
The comic is created in Adobe Illustrator. Characters generally have simple geometric features. The comic has a strong emphasis on puns, often EXCELLENT ones. A single comic has multiple jokes, and is usually about eight full color panels, though the comics can range anywhere from one to eighteen panels.
