[edit] Controversial Strips
No Parking Web Comic has cause some controversy since it's start in 2006.
One of the strips most controversial strip involved 9-11 conspiracy theorists [2] . J. Sheehan has said this strip generated so much email that it nearly took down his provider's email server.
Another storyline [3] involved the gang going back to Dallas 1963's Kennedy Assassination to stop a future version of Pax (who they find in a 1963 head shop) from being seen as the man on the grassy knoll. The November 19th 2006 strip [4] ended with Pax on top of a building in Dallas in 1963 aiming a rifle at some unseen object. Again emails clogged his account. The next strip showed that Pax wanted to take out Oswald, and saving Kennedy. Barney talked him out of changing time and they returned to the present.
The December 12th 2006 [5] strip took on Creationism, with Barney appearing on Larry King to put forward his theory that man was created by ducks.
The December 22nd 2008 [6] strip featured a rant against proposed new taxes the New York Governor wanted. The strip became quite popular with New Yorker after appearing on the http://nyobesitytax.org/petition.htm [7] web site that is fighting the new taxes.
In the summer of 2009 people attending town hall meetings about health care printed out the August 14th 2009 [8] strip and handed it out. The strip was critical of congress and the government's health care plan, became a hit with those who opposed the government option.
Sheehan has said he sometimes wonders if he has fans or just a bunch of easily ticked of email writers who read his strip.

[edit] The Barney Duck Taskforce (The BDT)
The BDT [21]is a task force housed in the Pentagon, who's sole mission is to neutralize the anarchist Barney Duck. To keep their identities secret they wear monkey masks, although they want to change it to dragon masks but they don't have it in the budget. They toyed with the idea of letting Barney win the 2008 election, thinking that with him as president he'd be under their thumb. The abandoned this plan and made it look like Barney lost the election, even though he got 92% of the vote.
[edit] Lou
Lou was Barney Duck's campaign manager for his 2008 election bid. From the primaries on she stood by him helping him with his campaign. After the end of the election, in a wrap up strip [22], it was learned that Lou was a memeber of The BDT.
