Oh No Robot
From Comixpedia
Oh No Robot is a webcomic search engine created by Ryan North and T Campbell that went live in November, 2005. It enables users to search the full text of participating webcomics archives by storing a full transcript of each comic installment.
A completely opt-in system, Oh No Robot requires creators who would like their comics indexed to add a bit of Javascript code to their website. This creates a button on each strip's web page encouraging readers to create transcripts and add them to the Oh No Robot database. Each transcript requires the approval of the webcomic creator before it goes live.
Alternatively, webcomic creators can use an API to add the transcripts themselves.
Additionally, creators can use Oh No Robot to generate archive pages and RSS feeds for their webcomics.
Oh No Robot has recently added a Random Comics browser, which lets you jump from random comic from to random comic out of the Oh No Robot database.
