Pinocchio and FooT is a webcomic based on a homonymous comic book from the 70's. The so-called "original adventures" appeared as one-page comic strips, but these were expanded into short comic books which ran for seven issues until 1975. The comics were produced in Salt Lake City.

Pinocchio and FooT are spandex wearing characters who fight crime in Salt Lake City. Their secret headquarters, called the Whale's Mouth Cavern, is in a cave under their home. Among other nifty gadgets stored therein is their oddly shaped vehicle, the Nosemobile.

Traumatized as a youth when confronted by a Pinocchio Make-Up kit with a strange, large-nosed figure on its box, Pinocchio has a fixation on noses and sports a mask with an enormous pointy proboscis. Pinocchio has no superpowers, only a keen mind and wispy but powerful frame. And lots of gadgets.

FooT, Pinocchio's sidekick, wears a helmet with a foot-like appendage sticking out the top. The name "FooT" seems to derive from his status as a sidekick, the kicking of which requires a foot. FooT, through training under the tutelage of Monks from the Alaskan Charana Naasaabhyantara Buddhist sect, has mastered the frightening and powerful Buddha Belch and possesses the ability to squish his antagonists with a move he calls the Buddha Bounce.

Erik the Ferret was the first supercriminal to oppose Pinocchio and FooT. He originally appeared as a crimeboss figure wearing a business suit and a cape of ferret skins. He sometimes wore a ferret head as a hat. His girlfriend Sheri the Classy Dame, known for wearing a majorette's costume, has dumped him due to male-pattern baldness. Ferret is currently running for mayor of Salt Lake City as a conservative Republican on a platform pledging to rid the city of foot-headed, big-nosed terrorists.

The Evil Evan Hurst is a neo-Nazi trying to make the trains run on time in Salt Lake City. His last crime was an attempt to conquer the Earth with the help of the alien Smarg. He is currently residing in the Utah State Penitentiary.
