Troops of Doom is a webcomic made with photographed dioramas, featuring GI Joe, Lego and Star Wars action figures. With this mixture of universes, much of the content does not follow the original source material’s history. Troops of Doom draws influences from many sci-fi TV shows and war movies such as Farscape, Full Metal Jacket, Platoon, Stargate SG-1, Star Trek, Terminator and others.

[edit] Cast

[edit] Cobra

Under the leadership of Cobra Commander, Cobra has achieved their dream and established their own sovereign planet. Whether or not they can hold on to it remains to be seen.

[edit] Droids

Droids are scattered throughout many factions but the one thing that unites them is their overwhelming instinctual hatred for organic life-forms. Only their Cyberdyne safety protocols stop them from rising up and killing their masters.

[edit] Empire

Formerly the most powerful force in the galaxy, the Empire is struggling to maintain their position with the rise of new factions.

[edit] GI Joe

The most elite troops in the galaxy. But with limited technology and their planet still divided into many opposing countries, Earth is at a major disadvantage.

[edit] Legonians

Once believed to be a mythical race, little is known about the Legonians other than they possess the most advanced and versatile technology (Legotech) in the galaxy. It is so well designed that children six years and up could use it. Unfortunately Legotech has also made them a target of others who see it as a means to gain a significant advantage over their potential enemies.

[edit] MARS

Owned and operated by Destro, Military Armament Research System’s only goal is record profits. MARS sells over-priced products made with inferior materials because the sooner they break down, the sooner they can sell their clients something new.

[edit] Mercenaries

Comprised of many backgrounds, they are aligned with no one. They will do any job for anyone, if the price is right.
